Rayaan Ahmed Naji

I’m Rayaan, most commonly known as Naji, a 17-year-old student at Lahore Grammar School JT. I’ve always been curious about how things work, especially machines, engines, and aircraft. Engineering, particularly automotive and aerospace, excites me because it blends logic with creativity. I’m also fascinated by nuclear and atomic sciences, drawn to ideas that are complex and beyond everyday understanding. My goal is to pursue higher education abroad to United States, Europe or South Asia to explore new cultures and expand my knowledge.

Before joining LGS, I studied at Aitchison College, where I built a strong academic foundation and engaged in various co-curricular activities. I received certificates of appreciation for extensive reading and regularly participated in poetry recitations, debates, language competitions, and theatre. Reading has been a constant passion, from thrillers and mysteries to romantic comedies and fantasy, with authors like Agatha Christie and John Green influencing my perspective and imagination.

Photography is one of my favorite ways to express creativity. I enjoy capturing moments that feel meaningful, and I have won photography awards in competitions at different schools across Lahore. I also enjoy movies and music, as they inspire me, fuel my creativity, and often give me new perspectives on storytelling and human emotions. Similarly, Sports also play a big role in my life. I’ve represented my school in football and actively enjoy cricket, badminton, and tennis.

I’m dependable, responsible, and thrive as a team member, especially in high-pressure or last-minute situations. While I may not always lead, I make sure I contribute effectively and support my peers when it matters most.

Looking ahead, I aim to combine my curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills to make meaningful contributions in engineering and beyond. I’m committed to continuous learning and excited to embrace new challenges that help me grow personally and academically.
