Introduction

The Centre for Children Literacy and Lifelong Learning (CCLLL) is a dedicated institution committed to fostering literacy and lifelong learning opportunities for children, particularly among the masses of rural areas and underprivileged communities across Pakistan. At the heart of its mission is the belief that literacy is the foundation of social and intellectual development. The Centre works to enhance children’s reading abilities, promote a culture of learning, and bridge the literacy and leisure reading gaps between privileged and underserved communities.

The Centre is consisted of diverse and experienced team members who are committed to work voluntarily for the under-privileged communities and children through conducing variety of reading promotional activities. The Centre is encouraging individuals, groups, institutions, organizations, and institutions to sponsor literacy programs to be planned by visiting varied public school libraries. Although the team members are working voluntarily and the Centre has a good team of volunteers, there is need to finance literacy programs.

Welcome to CCLLL

Recognizing the power of research and academic discourse, the Centre also publishes three research journals, contributing to the scholarly understanding of children’s literacy and education. Beyond academic contributions, the Centre actively engages in on-ground reading promotional activities through a dedicated team of volunteers. These activities include storytelling sessions, book distribution campaigns, literacy awareness workshops, and teacher training programs, all aimed at making reading accessible and enjoyable for children. With a long-term vision of empowering children through literacy and lifelong learning, the Centre aspires to collaborate with educational institutions, policymakers, and literacy advocates to create a more inclusive and knowledge-driven society in Pakistan.
